Testimonials

“Today, I had one of THE BEST learning experiences I've ever had, and it was only an hour! Jordan Hirsch and Sarah Filman have truly created a fun, challenging, and place of safety with their Improv Sessions. I laughed, played, learned, and used my brain...a lot!

In a way, we do improv every day because we're constantly thinking about what we need to do or say in a meeting, with a client, with our families, friends, and even to ourselves, but this takes improv to a different level. Thanks to Jordan Hirsch and Sarah Filman for an amazing Improv experience. I highly recommend you join this session so you can ‘get your play on’ while learning too!”

"A lot of leadership courses talk about things like confidence and resilience, and honestly, there is a little bit of skepticism about what a four-week course can really do to move the needle… But in this case, I can see I'm not the same person coming out as I was going in. I credit the tools and techniques that I learned in this course with helping me get a greater sense of awareness [as a leader]."

“Through improvisational activities, we created, took risks, and solved for the problem in front of us. What I love about improv is how it invites you to trust your instincts and also lean into discomfort. I know that when I've been open to this in my professional journey, I've experienced the most profound growth. My eyes have been opened to new possibilities and new pathways that I couldn't have previously identified."

“I attended a workshop with Jordan and Sarah about a month ago and cannot recommend it highly enough.

About a week after the workshop, I had to lead a large meeting between my team and a couple other teams at work, where there had been a lot of misalignment/miscommunication/non-communication leading to frustration and misunderstanding. I took some of the very exercises we'd used in the improv workshop to open the meeting -- and that shifted the meeting's tone to be playful, it had people let their guard down a bit and open up, and then everyone from all teams saw the other perspectives much more clearly. This built a lot of empathy and opened the way to--at first some follow up venting, which was needed--and then later to better understanding and relationship building.

Even if the participants hadn't benefited, it was a huge benefit to me. Heading into the meeting I had a ton of anxiety about how I might bring the teams together and if the meeting would be a disaster, so having all these brand new tools was a game changer, and getting myself into the appropriate improv mindset at the start of the meeting helped me steer myself towards the fun and away from the worry.

I believe so strongly in the value of what Sarah and Jordan provide that I'm working with them to bring their workshops to my company.”

“The activities were well planned and executed. Everyone who attended had fun, made new friends, dropped their inhibitions, and walked away with a feeling of belonging and renewed energy.

“We had a blast playing improv games and learning about principles and mindsets that can help us with our work, communication, and life. You learn life lessons about how to think creatively, create a safe space for the team, spur innovation, communicate more effectively, adopt a better mindset, and present yourself in a better way. Plus, it's a lot of fun!”
